Jonathan Price is the Director of International Relations for Global Sports. He was recruited out high school to play collegiate baseball and football. In 2004 he chose to play Division 1 college football at Liberty University in Virginia. After playing at Liberty, the Lord directed Jonathan back to Texas to attend Texas State University where he studied Criminal Justice. In 2008 Jonathan was given an offer of employment at the Austin Police Department. He declined this offer of employment to pursue a life in full-time ministry. After 5 years as a full-time missionary, Jonathan entered the world of engineering in oil and gas where he worked for several years before being called back into ministry. In the Spring season, Jonathan was a rugby coach at the collegiate level at Texas State University and has a unique and eclectic background in sports, ministry, engineering, finance, consulting and management. Jonathan served with his father Randall Price on archeological digs and expeditions for the past 15 years.
During his time as a field worker and travels around the globe, Jonathan established many relationships, saw hurt, lonely and lost people in desperate places. Through experience, he has learned the best ways to help the “least of these” and give good things to the widow and orphan that are more than just a short-term band-aid. In 2015 Jonathan founded “Reflection of Grace”, a ministry project to serve missionaries and pastors in the field. This project connected him to Jeff Siegel and Global Sports in 2018.
